Burntwood, [24th July 2023] - The highly anticipated Burntwood Monday Football League continued with thrilling action in week 6 as teams from the Premier League, Division 1, and Division 2 battled it out on the 3 pitches.

In the Premier League, Belt FC emerged as the top scorers of the week, securing a resounding 8-2 victory over Leave Me Arcelona. With their relentless attacking prowess, Belt FC dominated the game from start to finish. Not far behind, Pete Always Scores Bangers displayed their goal-scoring stats as they triumphed 3-1 against Burntwood FC.

The Gradient also showcased their skills with a well-deserved 2-0 win over Boca Seniors. Clinical work from a top team against a confident, young opposition. However, the match between The CTL Elite and Compsta Marp stole the show, ending in a thrilling 4-3 victory for Compsta Marp. Match of the Day material right there!

Turning to Division 1, 2 Goals 1 Cup continued their impressive run by defeating Chasetown Seniors 4-2. It was a closely contested match, but 2 Goals 1 Cup managed to find the back of the net more frequently to secure their victory. Harriers also proved their mettle with a convincing 3-0 win over Boat Inn Rovers. A big shout out to them as well for already notifying the head office team in advance of their upcoming holiday absence. Have fun guys!

Meanwhile, Wheel FC took control of their game against FC Prodigies, securing a 3-1 victory. It is fabulous to see them climbing the ranks! Sheffield Monday also displayed their dominance by defeating Norfolkinchance with a comprehensive 3-0 scoreline.

In Division 2, Fat Knacker And Co showed their attacking and defensive drive with a solid 3-1 win over Not In Ya Mums Forest.
