Burntwood Monday Football League showcased an exhilarating week 8 of action last night, with teams from the Premier League, Division 1, and Division 2 going head-to-head in intense 6-a-side matches. The competition was fierce, and fans were treated to some brilliant displays of skill and determination on the pitch.

In the Premier League division, BELT FC faced off against Burntwood FC in a thrilling encounter that ended in a 1-1 draw. Both teams showcased their defensive prowess but were equally impressive in their attacking plays. 

Another exciting match took place between The Gradient and Leave Me Arcelona, with Leave Me Arcelona securing a hard-fought 3-2 victory. It was a closely contested game, with both teams displaying great teamwork and individual brilliance. It was only a few weeks ago where the Gradient captain can be quoted "we would never lose to them guys haha"!

Meanwhile, Boca Seniors put on a dominant performance against our newest team addition - Mouse Dad, winning convincingly with a resounding 8-2 scoreline. 

Moving on to Division 1, Wheel FC went head-to-head with Chasetown Seniors, but Chasetown Seniors emerged as the victors with a 4-1 scoreline. Chasetown Seniors' relentless attacking and solid defensive experience ensured their win. 

Soup King FC and Harriers locked horns in an intense battle, resulting in a 2-2 draw. Both teams showcased their competitive spirit and tactical nous, making it an exciting encounter for the spectators. 

In Division 2, Fat Knacker And Co displayed their dominance with an impressive 8-0 victory over Monday Warriors. A real breath taker. TFat Knacker And Co's attacking prowess was on full display, leaving their opponents struggling to find a response. The top scorer for this division was not provided.

WIP FC secured a hard-fought 5-3 win against Not In Ya Mums Forest, showcasing their resilience and determination throughout the game. After a tight game a big fair play to Maccauley for keeping the mum's forest behind for a friendly!


Lastly, Patty Freaks FC cruised to a comfortable 5-0 victory over The Wastemen, exhibiting their clinical finishing and defensive solidity. 

In the final match of Division 2, Six Offenders displayed their attacking prowess and secured a 4-1 victory against Kepa Clean Sheet. Solid as she goes!

As the Burntwood Monday Football League heads into the next week of fixtures, teams will be eager to build on their performances and continue to entertain the passionate spectators.
