Play in the Burntwood Monday football league powered by Leisure Leagues

The Burntwood Monday Football League was back in action last night, with a host of exciting games played across the Premier League, Division 1 and Division 2. It was Week 9 of the season and the teams were all geared up for some high-octane football. After a 2-week festive break - it'd be interesting to see if anyone had packed on the pounds! 

In the Premier League division, The Gradient emerged victorious with a commanding 9-1 win over Trooper FC. Their phenomenal performance puts them firmly at the top of the table. We also welcome a new team - Boys to Men into our league, unfortunately they didn't have the warmest of welcomes from PASB!

Moving on to Division 1, Norfolkinchance proved too strong for WIP FC, winning the match 5-1. Wheel FC also secured a clean 2-0 win over Sheffield Monday in a big match up! A standout performance was witnessed by The CTL Elite who outperformed Fat Knacker And Co with a 3-1 victory. The top scorer of Division 1 came from 2 Goals 1 Cup, who triumphed 4-2 over Poms United. Some real shockers to be seen here!

In Division 2, Just Bloata and Patty Freaks FC ended their match in a 1-1 draw, while MONDAY WARRIORS narrowly defeated Boat Inn Rovers 2-1, marking our Match of the Day. Kepa Clean Sheet had an impressive 4-1 victory against Not In Ya Mums Forest. However, the highlight of the division was Purple Cobras FC, who handed out an 8-1 thrashing to Unathletico Madrid - not ideal whatsoever. 

As we head into Week 10, the competition is heating up across all divisions. With plenty of football still to play, it’s all to play for in the Burntwood Monday Football League. Stay tuned for more thrilling matches and outstanding performances.
