In an exciting week 10 of the Burntwood Monday football league, teams in the Premier League, Division 1, and Division 2 put on a spectacular show of grit and determination.
In the Premier League division, Pete Always Scores Bangers secured a solid victory against Ray Priests with a score of 2-0. Meanwhile, Trooper FC managed to edge past Boys To Men in a closely contested match finishing 2-1. Our two newest teams battling it out with little difference!
In Division 1, Harriers had a phenomenal game, thrashing 2 Goals 1 Cup 5-0 in a one-sided encounter. FC Prodigies and The CTL Elite had a goal-less draw, both teams showing strong defensive skills.
Sheffield Monday put on an electrifying performance, scoring an astounding 10 goals against Poms United, who managed only a single goal. Relegation seems to be calling it seems... Meanwhile, Norfolkinchance secured a comfortable 3-0 win over Wheel FC - asserting their dominance over the league.
Division 2 saw Patty Freaks FC beat Not In Ya Mums Forest 3-0, but give the Notts lads a big clap for still staying and playing a friendly after this loss! Kepa Clean Sheet also suffered in a 0-2 loss against the MONDAY WARRIORS.
Scrambled Legs had an impressive 3-1 victory over Boat Inn Rovers and Norton FC made a resounding statement with a 7-0 thrashing of Unathletico Madrid. That means it is still 100% success for the Sunday League loanees' so far this season!
