In the gripping week 9 of the Burntwood Monday 6 a side Football League, teams from four divisions fiercely battled it out on the field, displaying remarkable sportsmanship and skill. Here's how the night unfolded.

In the Premier League, the only match of the evening saw The Gradient go head-to-head with Ray Priests. After an exciting game filled with intense plays and strategic maneuvers, Ray Priests emerged as the winners with a score of 5-3. Pick of the games by a slim margin…

Moving onto Division 1, the evening was marked by a series of electrifying matches. Boys To Men and Patty Freaks FC ended their game in a draw with a score of 2-2, leaving the spectators at the edge of their seats. Sheffield Monday demonstrated impressive tactics, securing a victory over Norton FC with a 3-0 score. Harriers and Norton Canes also ended their game in a 1-1 draw. Kepa Clean Sheet, unfortunately, couldn't hold their ground against Bottom FC, who secured a 4-0 victory.

Division 2 featured equally exhilarating matches. 2 Goals 1 Cup and Scrambled Legs locked horns, with Scrambled Legs taking home a 1-0 victory. Trooper FC and Purple Cobras FC matched each other play by play, leaving the score at a 1-1 draw.

In our all new, bolt on Division 6, exclusively for newbies. Queen Park Strangers and Bargain Beers And Wines battled it out in friendlies which was very helpful all round. Pro Clubs Irl, however, couldn't hold off Basic FC, who secured a 2-1 victory. It’ll be interesting to see if they consider themselves the best of the rest!?

Come next week, we anticipate an even higher turnout. And remember, the top performers in Division 6 will be placed in higher divisions come graduation. It’s all to play for! Next season will certainly be our biggest yet, we can’t wait to share it with you all.

Despite the intense rivalry, the leading goal scorers across the divisions displayed commendable sportsmanship. The names of the top scorers have not been disclosed.
