Burntwood Monday 6 a side news 2024-08-19

In the Burntwood Monday football league, week 6 brought some surprising results and exciting games that kept the fans on their toes. 


In the Premier League division, Burntwood FC dominated FC Prodigies with a 5-1 victory, showcasing their offensive prowess. Willian Dollar Baby easily surpassed the Harriers with a 6-1 score, while Wheel FC secured a 2-0 victory over Norton FC. The two big dogs still hot on the early pace!!

Here is where we find our saucy Match of the Day! The CTL Elite and Sheffield Monday had a close game, with the former narrowly winning 4-3 in a thrilling and nerve-racking match.

Division 1 saw the Monday Warriors triumph over Havent Jota Clue FC with an 8-1 result, demonstrating their superior tactics and synchronicity. Scrambled Legs defeated Boys To Men, 6-2, while Dank FC and Basic FC each secured 4-0 victories against Patty Freaks FC and M Bangers respectively.

2 Goals 1 Cup emerged victorious in Division 2 with a 7-4 win over Bargain Beers And Wines. Not often you get to witness an 11 goal, mind bending thriller! Soup King FC beat Trooper FC 3-1 while Purple Ake outplayed Kepa Clean Sheet 3-1. In a close contest, Unathletico Madrid won against PSV Hangover 4-3. Plenty of goals across Div2. 

Meanwhile, in Division 3, Class On Grass and How I Met Your Mata FC showcased a balanced defense and offense, resulting in a 1-1 draw. TTFC overpowered Inter Your Nan United 4-0, while Queen Park Strangers beat Munter Hunters 3-1. Purple Cobras FC won 2-0 against Pro Clubs Irl, showcasing their superior tactical gameplay. Who’s looking most eager to climb outta the bottom tier!?
