In the Premier League, Bunch of Scruffs showed their mettle against Burntwood FC, narrowly securing a 1-0 victory. Absolute giant killers! Top spot rests on just goal difference alone now! Norton FC also squeezed out a 2-1 win against Harriers showcasing their determination. Scrambled Legs, however, delivered the most decisive win of the division, besting Sheffield Monday 5-2. The CTL Elite also shone through, putting up an impressive 4-1 win against Dank FC. They keep hot on the top dogs heels!
Moving onto Division 1, ATHLETICO BILBAO BAGGINS took home a solid 3-0 win against The Grillbillies. Can anyone stop them!? 2 Goals 1 Cup are the closest on call, they outshone Diddys Dribblers with a 4-0 scoreline. Unfortunately that keeps them rooted to the foot of the table. Meanwhile Schwartzs Young Kids managed a 2-0 victory over Basic FC.
In Division 2, we transition in with our famous Match of the Day! Boys To Men kept Kepa Clean Sheet at bay with a 2-0 win, as they continue their quest for success this season…Paul’s Rent Boys showed their prowess with a confident 5-1 win against Class On Grass, establishing themselves as a force to be reckoned with. They stay 1 point ahead of the Boys in second spot.
Finally, in Division 3, Whopper Walsh secured a 3-0 victory against Inter Your Nan United. They edge into first place albeit with an huge chasing pack behind! Trooper FC are hoping to find some momentum and join that train… they secured a narrow 1-0 win against new lads Broadfield FC. Pro Clubs Irl also managed a 2-0 win against Unathletico Madrid down at the depths!
As the season progresses, teams across all divisions will be looking to build on their performances, ensuring the coming weeks of the Burntwood Monday 6-a-side Football League remain thrilling.
