Play in the Burntwood Monday football league powered by Leisure Leagues

In the thrilling week 8 of the Burntwood Monday 6-a-side football league, adrenaline was surging through the veins of the spectators as teams from four different divisions battled it out on the field.

In the Premier League division, Dank FC took a narrow victory over Burntwood FC with a 1-0 scoreline. A huge upset which has well and truly knocked the current title holders off their perch! The CTL Elite was edged out 1-0 by Sheffield Monday in a tightly contested match. The highlight of the Premier League was the seven-goal thriller between Harriers and Scrambled Legs, with the latter securing a 4-3 victory. All of a sudden the Premier League has been slashed wide open!

Division 1 saw The Grillbillies overpower Diddys Dribblers with a commanding 5-0 win, demonstrating an impressive display of their offensive prowess. The division also witnessed a nail-biting encounter between ATHLETICO BILBAO BAGGINS and Patty Freaks FC, with the former scraping a 3-2 victory. Bilbao fending off a real threat to that pretty trophy which they’ve been eyeing up!

In Division 2, we find the latest instalment of Match of the Day! It featured a 6 goal battle of Kepa Clean Sheet and National Gridiots who ended their match in a 3-3 deadlock. Nothing could break these two giants apart in this relegation dogfight! Meanwhile PSV Hangover clinched a 3-2 win against Class On Grass. Notably, Paul’s Rent Boys displayed remarkable strength, outplaying Boys To Men 4-0. Did they just eliminate a real threat from their title push? Well, it’s still early doors…

As for Division 3, Karius To Glory defeated Trooper FC 2-0, while Whopper Walsh secured a 2-1 victory over Queen Park Strangers. With the two big dogs winning by such narrow margins, the tight tug of war rages onwards! Broadfield FC also held their ground, winning 2-0 against Pro Clubs Irl.

It was a week of high spirit, competitive football, and unforgettable moments at the Burntwood Monday 6-a-side league. The next round of games promise to bring even more excitement and footballing spectacle. Stay tuned for more action!
