Burntwood Monday 6 a side news 2025-02-17

In the latest round of action from the Burntwood Monday 6-a-side Football League, we saw some heated competition as we inch closer to the end of the season. With only two weeks left to play, the warring clubs battled it out on the pitch in the hope of securing a favorable position for next season.


In the Premier League division, Burntwood FC and Sheffield Monday emerged as the night’s victors, with victories over The CTL Elite (5-2) and Norton FC (2-0) respectively. The CTL Elite's solid defense was no match in this fixture against a desperate Burntwood FC, who are trying to save their season and their title! Meanwhile Sheffield Monday showed their prowess in their convincing win. In another exciting contest, Dank FC outpaced Scrambled Legs 5-3, while Bunch Of Scruffs comfortably defeated Harriers 3-1. They all stay the same up at the roof - but it could all change in a blink!

In Division 1, the match between Patty Freaks FC and The Grillbillies ended in a 2-2 deadlock. However, Victor Moses Garden outclassed Diddy's Dribblers with a thumping 6-0 victory. In our version of the Championship, we find the latest version of Match of the Day! A closely contested battle, yet Basic FC emerged victorious over Burntwood Ballers FC with a 3-2 scoreline. A top half finish has to be their end goal now - keep pushing guys!

In Division 2, Paul’s Rent Boys demonstrated their dominance with a whopping 11-1 victory over Davos Diddy Party. A title-declaring scoreline if ever one was needed there... The matches between Class On Grass and Kepa Clean Sheet, and National Gridiots against Boys To Men, ended with 2-2 and 7-0 scorelines respectively. Stroke Tity FC secured a comfortable 5-0 victory over PSV Hangover. Some huge scores here!

In the final division, Division 3, we saw Whopper Walsh edge out Pro Clubs Irl 1-0. Karius To Glory had a resounding 7-0 win over Broadfield FC, while Queen Park Strangers and FCDapperGirls managed to pull off 2-0 and 2-1 victories over Inter Your Nan United and Trooper FC respectively. Insane results could see this division go right down to the final day, watch this space!

The top scorers in each division displayed exceptional skill and determination. With only two weeks remaining, it will be intriguing to see if these players can keep their momentum and lead their teams to glory. The excitement is building as we head into the final stages of the season. Only time will tell who will come out on top in the Burntwood Monday 6-a-side Football League.
