In a thrilling week 4 of the Burntwood Monday 6-a-side Football League, some heart-racing matches unfolded.
In the Premier League division, Sheffield Monday delivered a crushing blow to Soup King FC with a jaw-dropping scoreline of 9-0. The Sheffield side showcased an outstanding performance, dominating the game and leaving their opponents goalless. Next up is a vital Match of the Day, featuring a whopping 9 goals! Scrambled Legs edged out Dank FC in a closely contested 5-4 matchup.
The CTL Elite managed a narrow, upsetting victory over Burntwood FC with a 1-0 win, while Bunch Of Scruffs dominated their game against 2 Goals 1 Cup, finishing with a commanding 8-3 win. Unbelievably, this string of results sees CTL current sitting as unlikely leaders!
Moving to Division 1, a strong performance from Victor Moses Garden resulted in a 2-0 victory over Stroke Tity FC. The Grillbillies also secured a 2-0 win against Patty Freaks FC, while Norton FC impressed with a 4-0 triumph over Harriers. They sit in 1st as they plot a rebound return to the top flight!
In Division 2, P M T FC managed to clinch a 4-2 victory against Whopper Walsh. Karius To Glory gave a masterclass in offense, defeating Kepa Clean Sheet with a 6-0 score. Diddys Dribblers and PSV Hangover ended their clash in a 1-1 draw, while Donny On Da Beek outperformed Burntwood Ballers FC, with a final score of 4-2. A very tight table we can see here!
Finally, in Division 3, Trooper FC and Broadfield FC both displayed their prowess. Trooper FC overpowered FCDapperGirls with a 4-0 win, while Broadfield FC surpassed Class On Grass 5-0. They are absolutely flying at the top, winning all their games to date!
