Monday 14th March - Burntwood Round-Up

It was another good evening's football in the Burntwood Monday 6 a side league this week, which saw all teams in attendance for their matches across both divisions, barring Another Team FC who gave a weeks notice and return on Monday 21st March.

Pete Scores Bangers scored a few more this week as they were dominant 6-0 winners over Burntwood Dads, keeping them three points clear of second placed Burntwood FC who were 6-3 victors against Janine The Dream.  Bumfica also remain in the title race as they stay in third place and three points off the leaders, they were 4-2 winners over Tea and Busquets this week.  The Gradient keep their place in fourth and were narrow 2-1 winners against CTL Elite, whilst Largentina moved up a place to seventh with a 2-0 win against Chasetown Seniors.

MV Kelly moved three points clear this week after a 5-0 walkover in the battle of the top two!  Another Team's forfeit allowed third placed Borussia Teeth to go level on points with them, as they edged past Norfolkinchance by a single goal!  Ajax Treesdown got their second win on the spin as they were 2-1 victors over Second 2 None whom they move two points ahead of.  Elsewhere The Dukes are tucked into mid-table after a 4-0 win against bottom of the table Obi Wan Bissaka, and Inter Your Nan climbed a place in the table with a 3-0 victory over FC Bantalona.
