It was a good evening of 6 a side football in Burntwood on Monday which saw all teams in attendance apart from Absolutely Fabregas who will be spoken to accordingly to confirm their return on Monday 25th February.
It was business as usual for Chase FC who dished out another thrashing, 6-1 the final score against Exeter Gently. Brutal Deluxe stay second as they picked up another win, although it was an impressive performance for new team Giroud Let The Dogs out who were beaten 2-1 by Brutal. Meanwhile, Norfolkinchance picked up an impressive 2-2 draw in their game against Burntwood AFC, whilst Dyslexia Untied dispatched of FC Bantalona, 4-1 the final score.
Burntwood Dad's move into second slot in Division One after a 1-0 win over Gibbos U12's, they move above Only Fools & Scorers who drew 2-2 with The Dukes to slip to third place.
In Division Two Monday Club's impressive run continues, they beat Chasetown Seniors convincingly, 6-1 the final score as they made it 5 wins out of 6. Lloyds sit in second place after they thrashed rock bottom Class on Fake Grass 6-0, whilst Unitech United were 4-3 winners in their game against Mean Machine to move above them into fifth place.
