It was another good evening of 6 a side football in Burntwood on Monday which saw all teams in attendance for their fixture throughout the night as scheduled across all three divisions.
It was a perfect ten for Chase FC at the top of the Premier Division as they beat Giroud Let The Dogs out by a convincing 4-0 margin. Burntwood AFC moved into the top two for the first time this season, at a crucial stage too, this followed their 3-0 win over Brutal Deluxe who they overtake in the table.
Exeter Gently were in fine form in front of goal as they ran out 8-2 winners over Dyslexia Untied, whilst FC Bantalona won the battle of the bottom two as they beat Norfolkinchance 3-2 to record their first win of the campaign.
Walkabout FC remain top Division One after a 2-1 victory over Gibbos U12's, they look certs for promotion but will be looking to gain the title in the process. Second place Burntwood Dads were 3-0 winners over The Price Is Right, whilst The Dukes now sit in third place following their 5-0 win over Expected Toulouse. No Fuchs Given boosted their slim chances of survival after a 3-2 victory over Only Fools & Scorers which sees their opponents drop to fourth.
Monday Club's superb campaign continues as they steam roll their way to Division One, they made short work of third placed Mean Machine this week in a 5-2 win, although Unitech continue to occupy the second promotion slot after their 4-2 win over Class on Fake Grass.
Sex Drugs and Carlton Cole and Bandits move away from the bottom two and into the mid table spots after they secured 3-1 wins in their games against Chasetown Seniors and Lloyds respectively.
We wish all teams the best of luck going into next weeks matches with Burntwood's premier provider of small sided football.
