It was another fantastic evening of 6 a side football in Burntwood on Monday which saw all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled and some entertaining matches played across both divisions.
It was the battle of the perfect records in the Premier Division this week as Tea and Busquets met SOTC FC, both having won their first 7 games of the season. Tea and Busquets ran out 4-2 winners in a very important result as they now sit two points clear. New team Pub? made their first appearance in the league at very short notice after the withdrawal of Sex Drugs and Carlton Cole, they put in a valiant performance against third placed Monday Club, who eventually won the game 2-1.
Division One see's The Gradient carrying a slender lead at the top of the table with just goal difference separating them and Chasetown Seniors. Gradient were 4-0 winners over Warriors Argyle FC, a result which puts them top following Chasetown's 1-1 draw with Lampard Do The Bounce.
