Monday 20th June - Burntwood Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Burntwood Monday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance for their matches throughout the night, the only exception being a late cancellation from WIP FC in Division One who return on Monday 27th June.

Largentina put in a five star performance to retain their perfect record after game week 5 this week, they were comfortable 6-1 winners over Borussia Teeth.  Second placed Gradient were 5-0 winners against Half Pump and Dribble as they stay two points off the leaders.  Elsewhere, wins for Bumfica and CTL Elite see them move up to third and fourth respectively.  Bumfica won a seven goal thriller over Burntwood FC by a 4-3 scoreline, whilst CTL Elite won 4-2 over Pete Scores Bangers who remain sixth.  Tea and Busquets picked up their first win of the season and moved up to seventh after they edged past Second 2 None by 2 goals to 1.

Hit N Miss also have a perfect record as they lead Division One, their fifth win on the spin was a 4-2 victory against FC Bantalona.  Burntwood Dads leapfrogged Chasetown Seniors after beating them 1-0 to move into second spot, whilst Norfolkinchance moved into fifth place after beating Monday Warriors 6-2.  Other action saw Friel United and Inter Your Nan draw a blank as the two shared a point a piece in a stalemate.
