Monday 22nd October - Burntwood Round-Up

It was another fantastic evening of 6 a side football in Burntwood on Monday which saw all teams in attendance throughout the night across all three divisions and some excellent football on display.

Two new teams made their debuts with us this week in the Premier Division.  There was an impressive 3-0 win for Only Fools & Scorers over Exeter Gently, whilst Monday Club suffered a difficult first week against one of the leagues top teams, an 8-0 reverse at the hands of Brutal Deluxe.

In Division One The Dukes remain top of the table despite suffering their first defeat of the season, losing 2-0 at the hands of an organised Burntwood Dads team.  Tottenham Hotsperm and Dyslexia Untied both took advantage of this result and moved within 2 points of top spot with 2-0 and 1-0 wins respectively.

Walkabout FC made it 5 wins out of 5 in Division Two with a 2-0 win over Gibbos U12's who were their nearest competitors.  They now move 4 points clear at this early stage of the season.
