Monday 23rd May - Burntwood Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Burntwood Monday 6 a side league this week overall, with all teams in attendance for their matches throughout the night for the first games of the new season.

We welcomed two new teams to the action for the new season.  Gabe Itches rejoined after a few months break from the league, they had a tough return against a dominant Largentina who ran out 19-1 winners, they will however be looking to settle back into the league as they get used to playing weekly again.

New boys in Division One Friel United were beaten 3-1 by Monday Warriors, but again will be looking to build on their debut result going into game week 2 when they line up against Chasetown Seniors.
