Monday 24th February - Burntwood Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in Burntwood on Monday with all teams in attendance throughout the night across both divisions and some entertaining matches played.

The Gradient suffered their second defeat in a row since promotion after suffering a 10-0 thrashing to an experienced Burntwood AFC.  Tea and Busquets and Janine The Dream occupy second and third place after both won their matches 3-1 over Monday Club and Mean Machine respectively.   SOTC FC picked up their first points of the campaign with a comfortable 6-1 win against Burntwood Dads, whilst AFC 55 followed up last weeks heavy defeat with an impressive 9-1 thrashing over The Dukes.

New Old Boys are the only team to win 2 matches from 2 after they ran out 4-1 winners against Brush Your Teeth.  Chasetown Seniors and Shush FC (formerly Pub) played out a goalless draw whilst Norfolkinchance were 1-0 winners against Lampard Do The Bounce.

All teams remember to give your goal scorers to the match officials at the end of your game so that we can log you on the golden boot list!  We implemented this for the first time this week but we need you to ensure that you provide the officials with the names of your scorers so that we can add them to the table!
