It was a good evening's football in the Burntwood Monday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance for their matches barring cancellations on the day from Monday Hazlewood and Burntwoood Dads, both of which return to action on Monday 2nd December, we also had CTL Elite who had given 7 days notice but return to action as normal this week.
The battle of the top two was a closely fought encounter in the Premier Division as The Gradient ran out 2-1 winners over Largentina, giving Gradient a fighting chance of taking the title if they can better the result of Largentina on the final week of the season.
In Division One, although already champions, Hit N Miss United stuck to the task as they secured a 3-2 win over Friel United this week, whilst Chasetown Seniors moved up to second at a key time of the campaign after they were dramatic 5-4 winners over Norfolkinchance.
We wish all teams good luck going into the final game of the current season with Burntwood's premier providers of small sided football!
