Monday 28th June - Burntwood Round-Up

It was another fantastic evening's football in the Burntwood Monday 6 a side league which saw all 20 teams in attendance for their matches across both divisions.

Result of the night was a surprising one, as SOTC FC ran riot against AFC 55 in a game which ended 15-1!  That result has certainly done SOTC's goal difference no harm at all as they seek to win the title this campaign. Burntwood Dads remain a point off the pace following their 5-2 win over Shush FC.

We have a new leader in Division One this week as Six Offenders capitalised on Norfolkinchance's 1-0 defeat against Monday Club by thrashing Obi Wan Bissaka 5-1.  It is a two horse race for the title now as both teams have already sealed promotion for next season after impressive campaigns.
