Monday 2nd December - Burntwood Round-Up

It was another good evening of football in the Burntwood Monday 6 a side league with all teams in attendance for their scheduled fixtures and some closely contested matches played across both divisions throughout the night.

Tea and Busquets were held for the first time this season at the tenth time of asking, as Mean Machine put in a superb performance to squeeze a 2-2 draw out of them.  SOTC's 5-3 win over AFC 55 puts them back within 2 points of the summit and makes things more interesting going forward.

The Gradient's 9-0 victory over Barnes Skips keeps them 2 points clear at the top of Division One, although Chasetown Seniors won't go away and won again this week to stay within touching distance, 3-1 over FC Bantalona their latest result.
