Play in the Burntwood Sunday football league powered by Leisure Leagues

In the thrilling week 16 of the Burntwood Sunday 6-a-side Football League, there were exhilarating performances from teams across both the Premier League and Division 1.

In the Premier League, 6 Elites made a powerful statement by decimating Too Old To Care Utd with a resounding 7-0 victory. The team demonstrated their dominance on the pitch, showing why they're a formidable force in the league. Still, absolutely nobody saw this one coming. 

Meanwhile, an intense battle between No Hope City and MK Dongs resulted in a narrow 2-1 victory for MK Dongs. This clash made our cut for the shiny Match of the Day spot! The top tier concluded with Fat FC overwhelming Obese City with a strong performance leading to a 5-0 win.

Division 1 games were equally gripping. Peek Eboue and Ladzio Fc battled it out with captain Alaric's lads just about sliding into a 3-2 victory, proving their true mettle. Similarly, Gemmas Lads and Greggs On Legs also shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw. The Ringers pulled off an impressive 5-1 victory over Warriors, while Al-Ettifaq In Ell Ref secured a slim 2-1 win over D.T.F.C. Plenty of goals to be seen around then!

As we approach the final two weeks of the season, the competition is heating up. The huge fight for glory will go right down to the wire! Teams are encouraged to secure their places for the next season to compete again in this exhilarating league!

Don't forget! As per the fixture list on the website. The next 2 Sundays fall on festive days. As such the centre is closed and our next games will take place as scheduled on Sunday 7th Jan 2024 - see you then!
