Play in the Burntwood Sunday football league powered by Leisure Leagues

In the heart of the sports season, the Burntwood Sunday Football League entered its 16th week, exhibiting electrifying games and incredible performances. The teams in the Premier League and Division 1 proved their mettle on the field, keeping the local air full of perspiration!

In the Premier League, it was a quiet week, with just a few friendlies to be seen. Thank you to all who took part as it ensures the tension stays prevalent as the action rolls over to Sunday 12th May! Remember, the title is still up for grabs as is second place - with 3 teams in the hat still!

The action in Division 1 was particularly fierce. FC R United secured a nail-biting victory over Warriors, with a final score of 2-1. They streak out way in front now! Can anyone catch these eager beavers?? 

Meanwhile, Obese City and Top Notch provided a thrilling draw, each team managing to net a single goal. Peek Eboue impressed with a clean sheet, defeating Ladzio Fc 2-0. 

Todays MotD is also in Division 1 where we had a terrific 7-goal thriller! Club AFC and Greggs On Legs battled it out in an absolute thriller, with Club AFC emerging triumphant at 4-3. In other developments, D.T.F.C continued their winning streak, narrowly beating Al-Ettifaq In Ell Ref 1-0.

With just two weeks remaining in the season, the competition is at its tightest. The teams are urged to step up their game to secure their places in the next season’s league. The opportunity to claim the cup is still within reach for many, adding an extra layer of competitiveness and excitement to the upcoming matches.

The top scorers of the week from each division have not only entertained with their sublime skills, but also helped their teams secure crucial points. Their performance will play a decisive role in the final standings of the season.
