Play in the Burntwood Monday football league powered by Leisure Leagues!

In the glamorous world of the Burntwood Sunday 6-a-side football league, week 17 was a fiery one, bringing some interesting results and setting the stage for an intense finish to the season with some top-notch performances. Both of our divisions seem set to play right to the wire as we delve into the action!

The Division 1 saw some thrilling matches unfold. D.T.F.C clinched a narrow win over Warriors, with the final scoreline reading a tight 1-0. Warriors, though gallant in their efforts, fell short of the mark, leaving D.T.F.C to grab the three points. The game was an intense one for mid table, with physicality and skill on full display.

In another Division 1 match, Al-Ettifaq In Ell Ref were unable to withstand the onslaught from Top Notch, who scored an impressive 2-0 victory. This win further cements Top Notch's claim for promotion, as Al-Ettifaq were left contemplating a few missed opportunities. Will it be enough for TN - read on to find out!

The highlight of the night, however, was FC R United's astounding 11-0 victory over Club AFC. The match was marked by some stunning goals and brilliant team play from FC R United, making it a night to remember for their fans. Absolutely no let up on the gas pedal, as they cruise to the champions spot, congratulations!

There was also an intriguing goalless draw between Ladzio Fc and Obese City. Both teams played their hearts out but failed to find the back of the net, leaving them to share the spoils. Ladzio seemingly running out of steam during their push for supremacy - and right on the final straight!

While we had numerous standout performances throughout the night, the top scorers for the Premier League Division 1 were undoubtedly the players from FC R United, who dominated the scoreboard with their 11 impressive goals.

Week 17 of the Burntwood Sunday League has certainly set the bar high. As the season nears its end, the intensity is expected to rise even further. The clubs, fans, and players are all eagerly waiting for our final night of football when the season concludes next week! Who shall finish on a high?
