In an electrifying conclusion to the Burntwood Sunday's 6-a-side Football league, the top teams of both the Premier League and Division 1 were bestowed with victory during the 18th and final week of the season.

In the Premier League division, AllStar Ringers turned the tides and emerged as the ultimate victors. Their triumphant run concluded with a staggering total of 34 points and an impressive 17/18 wins. They showed no mercy on their allies who were scrambling for the silver medals. The last week saw them smash Burntwood Isotopes FC in a thrilling match, which ended in a remarkable 8-3 in favour of AllStar Ringers, demonstrating their dominance in the league. However, Isotopes got incredibly lucky with MK Dongs being unable to field a team and also therefore taking a hit. As BI went in leading - they ultimately took runners up place!

Meanwhile, in Division 1, FC R United of course established their supremacy with total points of 31 and 14 victories to their credit. Congratulations boys! However, their final game of the season against Peek Eboue would still be crucial for their opposition. With yet another nail biting end for a runners up journey. This gold-plated Match of the Day ended in a ferocious 3-3 draw, nonetheless, it didn’t deter their journey to the top. This point was enough for them to see off Top Notch and secure 2nd place with breathing room. A very well done to these Leisure Leagues veterans!

Among the other notable performances, Too Old To Care Utd put up a spirited fight against Maximum Effort FC, ending the game with a score of 5-2. In Division 1, Greggs On Legs triumphed over Obese City with a 3-1 scoreline, while Top Notch secured a 2-0 victory against Ladzio Fc.

The final week of the Burntwood Sunday league served as the perfect end to a season full of astonishing goals, remarkable saves, and thrilling matches. As we bid adieu to this season, the triumphant teams can bask in their glory, while the others gear up to challenge the champions in the next season.
