In the adrenaline-fueled world of the Burntwood Sunday 6 a side Football League, Week 2 proved to be as thrilling as the season opener. Hard-fought battles unfurled across the divisions, with teams demonstrating skill and determination in equal measure.

In the Premier League, A.T.F.C. managed to edge out Ladzio FC 2-1 in a nail-biting encounter. Our Match of the Day is also found in this division, with 2 bitter rivals from last season, meeting yet again on this new stage. Allstars United and Peek Eboue battled it out in a nine-goal spectacle, with Allstars United clinching a 5-4 victory in the dying minutes! Fabulous!

In further developments Top Notch and Barz Click shared the spoils with a 2-2 draw. Not a bad start in such a competitive environment for such a new team! A big welcome to Barz Click - we are all looking forward to (hopefully) seeing you skyrocket!

Division 1 witnessed Al-Ettifaq In Ell Ref secure a solid 2-0 win against Ball Of Duty, while Sunday Football Ringers decimated Hakuna Juan Mata in a staggering 13-0 victory, setting a new record for the season. Not quite the grand entrance they were hoping for I'm sure! Zero Elites scraped past Obese City with a narrow 1-0 win.

Club AFC faced a crushing 0-6 defeat against Andy's Team FC in Division 2, while D.T.F.C fell short against Greggs On Legs in a tight 1-2 game. Some classic rivalries at their finest here! Last up, Warriors managed to squeeze out a 2-0 victory over freshers Hill Street Hooligans.

As we look ahead to Week 3, these results set the stage for an exciting and unpredictable season. Each division has its heroes and challengers, all vying for glory in the Burntwood Sunday 6 a side Football League.
