Burntwood Sunday 6 a side news 2024-07-07

In the gripping world of Sunday League 6v6 football, the week two results of the Burntwood league have provided much excitement and intrigue. The games, played under the floodlights of the leisure centre astro, saw teams from the Premier League and Division 1 engage in fierce competition and sportsmanship.

Starting with the Premier League, Al-Ettifaq In Ell Ref secured a narrow 1-0 victory over Kebab And Beer FC, exhibiting a solid defensive performance. In a tightly contested mid-table clash. A real shocker to start our roundup! Bottom Bunch FC and Barely Athletic shared the points following a 1-1 draw.

Barz Click edged out Peek Eboue with a whopping 3 goals, while Sunday Football showed their intentions clear with a decisive 2-0 triumph over Sporting Stonnall. However, the highlight of the Premier League was Top Notch's commanding 3-0 win over Zero Elites.

Moving onto Division 1, The Ringers made their presence known with a whopping 6-1 victory over Greggs On Legs. Meanwhile, D.T.F.C demonstrated their attacking aggression with an 8-0 drubbing of Hakuna Juan Mata! Ladzio Fc and Hill Street Hooligans battled to a 1-1 draw, while Obese City ran rampant with a 5-0 demolition of Ball Of Duty. The final match of the division is where we find our Match of the Day, it saw Allstars United outclass Warriors with a 3-1 victory. An end to end match is something we love to see!

As the Burntwood Sunday league progresses into week three, fans and players alike will be eagerly awaiting to see if the current top performers can maintain their form, or if the underdogs can stage a spectacular comeback. Sunday football has never been this compelling!

We still have space for new teams to join! If you're interested and want a guaranteed weekend laugh with your mates... then look no further.
