BURNWOOD - The Burntwood Sunday 6-a-side Football League witnessed an enthralling series of matches in week 8 of the season. With teams from the Premier League and Division 1 divisions clashing in high voltage encounters, spectators were given a thrilling football feast. 

In the Premier League division, Al-Ettifaq In Ell Ref emerged victorious, defeating Barely Athletic with a score of 3-1. Peek Eboue narrowly edged out Kebab And Beer FC in a closely contested match ending 2-1. Bottom Bunch FC showcased a strong game, securing an identical 2-1 victory over Sporting Stonnall. 

Top Notch dominated Barz Click, thrashing them with a crunching scoreline of 5-0. The highlight of the division was the match between Sunday Football and Zero Elites, with Sunday Football putting up a spectacular performance to win the game 6-1.

The Division 1 matches were equally thrilling. The Ringers showed an exceptional game, beating Hakuna Juan Mata 7-0. Greggs On Legs won their match against Hill Street Hooligans 4-2, the absolute epitome of a Match of the Day spectacle! Well earns lads…

Meanwhile D.T.F.C outplayed Obese City with a scoreline of 4-0. Allstars United scraped past Ladzio Fc with a narrow 2-1 win. In the highest-scoring game of the division, Warriors defeated Ball Of Duty 8-3.

While all teams put up commendable performances, Sunday Football and The Ringers were the top scorers in their respective divisions. As we look ahead to week 9, the Burntwood Sunday Football League promises to deliver more exciting and action-packed games…
