In the thrilling world of amateur football, week 4 of the Burntwood Sunday league saw some intense matches that brought shocks, surprises, and stunning goals. In the games that transpired last night, fans were treated to an exhilarating display of skill and determination from all participating teams.
In the esteemed Premier League division, Top Notch claimed victory against Barz Click in a 3-0 triumph. Sunday Ringers Utd dominated Kebab And Beer FC, posting a staggering 8-1 score. Storming to their familiar position at the crown of the Prem! Their performance was particularly impressive, with their strikers demonstrating superb form.
Burntwood Marino maintained their unfortunate losing streak against D.T.F.C with a remarkable 0-3 sucker punch, however if anyone can turn the tide it is them! They just need to get a move on with it… Notably, the game between Al-Ettifaq In Ell Ref and Peek Eboue ended in a 0-0 draw, an uncommon scoreline in the league, reflecting the defensive strategies of both teams.
In the Division 1, the competition was equally fierce. Ball Of Duty lost to Ladzio FC in a 3-0 defeat. Warriors clinched a 0-0 stalemate draw which almost felt like a victory against the Big Bad Bottom Bunch FC, room to grow from here! FCR also in tip top condition, leading the way down here…
Sporting Stonnall were the ones who fell to FC R United, ending 3-1. Obese City fell short against Hakuna Juan Mata, with a final scoreline of 1-3. And we finish this weeks roundup with the famous Match of the Day! M S Opeless were unable to overcome Greggs On Legs, succumbing in a 0-2 defeat. Slowly the new boys are improving, it just a matter of time until they get points on the board. This one was a gorgeous end to end meeting!
