BURNWOOD - Spectators were treated to a thrilling night of football as Week 5 of the Burntwood Sunday 6-a-Side Football League concluded with edge-of-the-seat action. The teams in both the Premier League and Division 1 demonstrated excellent skills and sportsmanship.
In the Premier League, Sunday Ringers Utd clinched a commanding victory over D.T.F.C with a 3-0 scoreline. Al-Ettifaq In Ell Ref managed to grab a valuable point against Kebab And Beer FC in a closely contested match that ended 2-2. Top Notch continued their strong run with a 3-1 win over Barely Athletic, adding to their growing reputation as a formidable side this season.
Over in Division 1, FC R United led the charge with a resounding 7-0 win over Obese City. Maintaining their pace set so far! Greggs On Legs claimed a solid 3-0 victory against Warriors in their second victory of the season. Bottom Bunch FC held their nerve to secure a 4-2 win over Ball of Duty. This marked Sunday’s Match of the Day with 6 scrumptious goals to pick the cherry from! Bottom Bunch keeping up their great work to keep up the heat on top spot!
Ladzio Fc and Hakuna Juan Mata also emerged victorious, with 1-0 and 2-0 wins over Sporting Stonnall and M S Opeless respectively. Could one of these groups be brave enough to force an upset this season?
