Last night marked the 10th week of the Burntwood Sunday 6 a side Football league, an event that saw some thrilling competition in both the Premier League and Division 1 categories. 

In the Premier League, the Sunday Ringers United outshone Peek Eboue with a decisive 3-2 victory. The game was a testament to the Ringers' prowess, showcasing their skillful maneuvering and strategic gameplay. As we enter the second half of the season, they remain odds-on favourites. 

The other key Premier League match saw Al-Ettifaq In Ell Ref lose to Top Notch with a score of 2-0. Despite the loss, Al-Ettifaq In Ell Ref showed significant promise and their fans are looking forward to the next round. Top Notch remain the best of the rest with their victory. If anyone can create a champions upset it is them!

Over in Division 1, the atmosphere was equally charged. Ladzio FC eked out a win against Hakuna Juan Mata with a score of 2-1. Such a crucial game near the top saw Ladzio leapfrog their nearest competitors! Bottom Bunch FC, although they fought valiantly, fell to Potato FC 5-1. Such a dramatic self destruction witnessed in today’s Match of the Day! Have we just witnessed the BB throw away their promotion chances? 

Lower down, Sporting Stonnall triumphed against M S Opeless with a solid 2-0 score. The dynamic STF FC couldn't hold up against the powerful FC R United and suffered a significant 9-0 defeat. Lastly, in a closely contested match, Obese City managed to grab a win against the Warriors with a score of 2-1. Is there still time left in the season for them to resurrect their form?

The top scorers for each division were the 2 table toppers yet again! Time will tell if this is business as usual or just a lucky break…

In the coming weeks, we can expect more intense competition as the teams continue to vie for the top spots in their respective divisions. This season of the Burntwood Sunday 6 a side Football league has already proven to be a thrilling spectacle of sporting talent, and there's plenty more action to come.
