In the Premier League, Zingers FC gave a sterling performance, taking down Top Notch 6-2 showcasing their offensive strength. D.T.F.C and Al-Ettifaq In Ell Ref ended in a nail-biting 2-2 draw, keeping the spectators on the edge of their sanity. Lovely to see Ettifaq pick up some confidence for the remainder of the campaign - a big result. Albeit at the demise of DTFC who suffer dashed Champions hopes along with TN.
However, the highlight of the evening was the dominating performance by Peek Eboue who dismantled Palace In Paris 9-0 in a match that would surely go down in the annals of this league. A rude awakening for our newest team!
Meanwhile, in Division 1, Bottom Bunch FC put up a strong defensive show, besting Sporting Stonnall 3-0. They strive on towards them top spots! The footballing spectacle continued with our next instalment of MotDā¦ It saw leaders FC R United triumphing over Warriors 6-2. This leaves the Warriors now looking over their shoulder!
Potato FC and Hakuna Juan Mata both had narrow victories, ending their games 3-2 against Ladzio Fc and STF FC respectively. A couple of crackers which left Hakuna alone in third spot. Obese City shut out M S Opeless 2-0, displaying a solid defence strategy.
As we move into the 12th week of the league, the stakes keep getting higher. The teams continue to vie for superiority, with each match played bringing us closer to determining this season's champions. The energy is palpable and the excitement, contagious. Burntwood Sunday continues to be a thrilling showcase of local football talent!
