In local sports news, the Burntwood Sunday 6 a side Football League kicked off again last night, marking the 15th week of the season. The matches featured fierce competition and impressive plays, with each team giving their all on the pitch.

In the Premier League division, there were a series of gripping matches. Real Unfitico emerged the lesser under D.T.F.C, scoring an impressive 4-1 victory. Al-Ettifaq In Ell Ref put on an outstanding performance against Top Notch, winning the match 4-1. Have they found their form too late though!?

An exciting game unfolded between Peek Eboue and Sunday Ringers Utd, with the latter seizing a narrow victory of 5-3. A 8 goal event rightly earns this fixture our MoTD award! It makes things very tight at the top now… will the Sunday Ringers retain their title? That said, the most decisive victory of the night came from Zingers FC, who dominated Palace In Paris with a comprehensive 5-0 scoreline.

In the Division 1 tier, FC R United put up a stellar display against STF FC, winning the game 8-1. Bottom Bunch FC were unable to establish their mark, being held by Potato FC 1-1. A tightly contested match between Hakuna Juan Mata and Ladzio Fc ended in a further 1-1 draw. In other news, Sporting Stonnall claimed a glorious 6-1 victory over M S Opeless, while Obese City secured a clean sheet with a 3-0 win over Warriors.

With BB Being held, FC R are officially the Division 1 champions!! A whopping 3 games before the curtain falls as a tasty bonus :o

While all players put in commendable performances, the top scorers for this week in the Premier League division were Zingers FC, with a remarkable five goals. In Division 1, FC R United led the way, netting an astonishing eight goals.
