Sunday 15th September - Burntwood Round-Up

It was a good start to the new season in the Burntwood Monday 6 a side league this week with all teams in attendance for their scheduled matches and some entertaining matches played across both divisions.

Netsix and Chill were 5-0 winners over Pathetico Madrid in the biggest result in the Premier Division, whilst last season's Runners-Up Ringers United put 3 past Fat FC without reply.  Last seasons champions Norton FC won by a single goal in their meeting with Chase Lions.  There were mixed fortunes for the newly promoted teams with Tavern Lions picking up an impressive 3-1 victory over Bwood Dons and Box of Chocolates losing 2-1 to Slightly Overweight.

In Division One Pique Blinders beat The Hated Seven 4-1, and Fortress were 3-1 winners in their meeting with Warriors.  6 Elites won by a single goal against Peek Eboue and it was a stalemate between DTFC and All Stars in a match that finished goalless.
