Sunday 18th September - Burntwood Round-Up

It was a good week of football in the Burntwood Sunday 6 a side league this week with all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled across both divisions.

There were few surprises in the game between leaders Ringers Utd and Obese City as the top team cruised to a 4-1 win, moving three points clear of second place as Fat FC were held to a goalless draw against FC Bibs.  Murder on Zidane's Floor moved up a place to third, leapfrogging DTFC in the process after thrashing them 6-2.  6 Elites completed the division's action as they were comfortable 3-1 winners over bottom team Peek Eboue.

It was a perfect 10 for the leaders in Division One, as A Big Bag of Goals 100% record extended into a tenth straight week, running out 4-1 winners against Ladzio FC.  Greggs on Legs put themselves in the driving seat as the second placed team won 3-1 over third placed Norton FC whom they moved four points clear of.  Fourth placed Mexican Smugglers were in solid form again as they thrashed DTFC Warriors by a 7-1 scoreline, a result which allowed Warriors to move up a place to fifth as they beat Hazlewood House 5-1.
