Sunday 1st March - Burntwood Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Burntwood Sunday 6 a side league this week with all teams in attendance barring Ggamblers who'd cancelled due to the League Cup Final.  Everyone else was in attendance as usual.

Buddersfield's 100% record extended to 6 games this week after they picked up a convincing 2-0 win against Bwood Dons.  Ringers moved up to second place winning 5-0 against Tavern Lions, whilst Murder on Zidane's Floor's 6-1 win moves them into third place and above Chase Lions who were held to a 1-1 draw against Allstars.

In Division One, Forty Winks also have a 100% record after 6 games, their latest result a 5-2 win against Pique Blinders.  Peek Eboue moved into second after a 4-0 win over Obese City, whilst DTFC dropped to third after losing 3-0 to Fortress who move within a point of them in fourth.  6 Elites were biggest winners of the night after thrashing Hazlewood House 10-0.
