Sunday 2nd February - Burntwood Round-Up

It was another superb evening's football in the Burntwood Sunday 6 a side league this week with all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled making for an excellent second week of the campaign.

Murder on Zidane's Floor made it two wins in a row since promotion after coming through a tough tie against Bwood Dons 2-1 winners.  Chase Lions 3-0 win against Tavern Lions and Buddersfield's very impressive 2-0 win over last seasons runaway champions Ringers Utd sees three teams keep a perfect record after only two matches.

DTFC have won as many games this season as they did the whole of last following their 2-0 victory against Obese City which sees them top the table at this very early stage of the campaign.  The Hated Seven were in good form in front of goal as they thrashed Hazlewood House 8-2, whilst Forty Winks FC completed the trio of teams on maximum points in Division One following a single goal victory over Peek Eboue.
