Sunday 2nd June - Burntwood Round-Up

It was a superb evening of 6 a side football in Burntwood on Sunday which saw all teams in attendance throughout the night and some closely contested matches played across both divisions which was pleasing to see.

Ringers Utd and Norton FC continue to lead the way in the Premier Division and both are on maximum points.  Ringers were 2-1 winners in their match against Slightly Overweight and Norton FC 4-2 winners against Fat FC.  Top Notch lost their winning streak 3-1 to Chase Lions to drop to third place, level on points with Chase who occupy fourth place.

Box of Chocolates are the only team who are unscathed so far this campaign in Division One, a 3-1 win over Chongers their latest triumph, whilst Fiorentina remain just a point off the pace following their 3-0 victory over Jurgen Flopps.   Third placed Mourinho's Elite lost ground on the promotion places after they suffered a 2-1 reverse at the hands of Warriors.
