Sunday 30th January - Burntwood Round-Up

It was another good evening's football in the Burntwood Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled, barring Inter Your Nan unusually, they will be spoken to and confirmed to return on Sunday 6th February.

Ringers Utd were in unforgiving form in front of goal this week as they put 9 past BUT FC without reply to increase their lead at the top of the table to 3 points, as second placed 6 Elites were held to a goalless draw by Fat FC.  Obese City moved out of the bottom two with a 2-1 win over Pique Blinders.

Division One continues to be dominated by 6 Class Players and Andy who made it a perfect 10 this week, running out 2-1 winners over Delph and Safety, whilst second placed Peek Eboue were convincing 6-0 winners over Junction Massive.  Third place DTFC suffered a 2-1 reverse against Ladzio FC to lose ground on the promotion places, whilst Warriors 4-2 victory over Hazlewood House sees them move into fourth spot.  Fortress were 5-1 winners over Roy's Allstars to move themselves into sixth spot.

After playing out their notice period, Roy's Allstars have now withdrawn from the league with immediate effect due to a lack of players.
