Sunday 3rd April - Burntwood Round-Up

It was a good evening's 6 a side football overall in Burntwood on Sunday for the first games of the new season, the only disappointment being a second consecutive failure to attend from Junction Massive, who as a result have now been removed from the league, creating one space for a short time.

There were plenty of goals scored on the season opener this week, champions Ringers Utd thrashed Division One champions 6 Class Players and Andy by a 7-1 score line to show their intent for the season ahead, whilst BUT FC scored an impressive 5-0 win over last season's third placed team Fat FC.  DTFC looked impressive in their first game since promotion as they strolled to a 3-0 win against Obese City, whilst Murder on Zidane's Floor shared the spoils with 6 Elites in a game that ended 2 a piece.

Chase FC set out their marker for the season ahead as they were 11-0 winners over Hazlewood House as they show their promotion intentions, whilst recently relegated FC Bibs were 11-1 winners against Warriors as they also show their intentions of bouncing straight back this term.  Peek Eboue will be looking to go one better this season after just missing out on promotion last time out, they were 1-0 winners against Greggs on Legs.
