It was another excellent evening's football in the Burntwood Sunday 6 a side league with all teams in attendance throughout the night including new side Buddersfield who picked up a 2-0 win over Chase Lions in their opening fixture.
Ringers United dropped their first point of the campaign on the eighth week of the season as they were held to a 2-2 draw by Norton FC, who now sit in fourth spot. Tavern Lions missed out on a golden opportunity though, as they could've got to within a point of top spot with a win, but instead they were held to a 1-1 draw by Fat FC, which keeps them 2 points off the pace.
Murder on Zidane's Floor moved three points clear at the top of Division One following their 7-3 thrashing of DTFC, whilst Fortress were beaten 2-1 by The Hated Seven, a result which drops them into third place following Warriors impressive 4-0 win over Obese City.
We wish all teams good luck going into the next round of fixtures with Burntwood's premier provider of small sided football.
