It was a superb evening of 6 a side football in Burntwood on Sunday which saw all teams in attendance for their fixtures throughout the night and some excellent matches played across both divisions.
Ringers United dominance in the Premier Division continued into the new year as they ran out 2-0 winners against Tavern Lions. That, coupled with Bwood Dons surprise 7-1 thrashing by Buddersfield sees their lead extend to 8 points at the top of the table. Chase Lions made a move for the top two as they ran out 2-1 winners over Box of Chocolates. There were also wins for Fat FC and Norton FC.
In Division One, Warriors were beaten 3-2 by third placed Pique Blinders, but remain top by three points as second placed Murder on Zidane's Floor could only manage a 2-2 draw against The Hated Seven. In other action, fourth placed Fortress were 2-0 winners against DTFC, whilst 6 Elites convincingly beat Allstars 4-1, and Obese City and Peek Eboue played out a stalemate.
We wish all teams good luck going into the next round of fixtures with Burntwood's premier provider of small sided football.
