Sunday 8th August - Burntwood Round-Up

It was another excellent afternoon's football in the Burntwood Sunday 6 a side league this week with all 20 teams in attendance for their matches as scheduled and some entertaining fixtures played throughout the night.

Norton FC's relentless form continued as they made it 6 wins from 6 this week with a 7-1 thrashing of The Pique Blinders their latest triumph.  Ringers United occupy second place and significantly boosted their goal difference with a 12-0 thrashing of Real Allsorts.

In Division One, it was BUT FC who were in unforgiving form in front of goal as they disposed of Fortress with a 9-1 scoreline.  Obese City remain in second place and on the coat tails of the leaders, a 3-0 victory over Ladzio keeps them two points off the summit.
