WEEKLY UPDATE FROM THE BURNTWOOD SUNDAY LEAGUE 21ST JULY

Another excellent evening of football in the Burntwood Sunday 6 aside league held at the Leisure Centre with all teams in attendance and everything running smoothly as usual.

The premier division saw Norton FC suffer their first loss of the season and therefore drop down to third on goal difference as Ringers FC gained a 2-0 victory over them to join them on 18 points. Chase lions moved in to pole position on goal difference as they gained a narrow 1-0 victory over Bayern Alwayslosen in a closely contested encounter.

Division one saw Box Of Chocolates FC maintain their 100% record for the season as they defeated Mourinho`s Elites with a 3-1 scoreline. Fiorentina Turner heasd the chasing back as they secured a 1-0 victory over Fortress this week.
