The Solent and University of Southampton Thursday 6-a-side league at Cantell School

In the opening round of matches, ‘5 in the Pink, 1 in the Stink’ thumped a lacking ‘Mayflower FC B’ 8:2, setting the precedent after scoring within the first minute.  Meanwhile, ‘SNS’ beat temporary newcomers ‘ISOC FC’, standing in to replace ‘Up Your Arsenal’ for the week, 5:4 in a close encounter.  

Next up, ‘I Kante Fit My Willian’ dominated ‘Choomah FC’, with a comprehensive 7:1 win, despite a much celebrated lone goal for the latter.  ‘Stem K Dons’ lost 4:2 to ‘Aston Birra’ in the other match.  

In the final round of games, ‘Culture FC’ lost 5:2 to ‘Adam’s Under 11s’, the winners defending impressively and finding form in front of goal, while ‘Punani Palace FC’ edged out ‘Levant FC’ 2:1.
