Loughborough Match Day 1 Roundup
Premier League
Call me a dad 1-4 The
Big Wangers
Great things are
expected of Call me a dad this season, but they will have to sort out their
shaky defence if they want to challenge the likes of The Big Wangers to Premier
League glory. Despite raining down shots on John Tebbs net, the yellows lack of
6-a-side experience cost them as they left themselves exposed at the back too
many times.

Balotellitubbies 1-4
Salad Dodgers
The tropical
Loughborough rainstorm wasn’t didn’t exactly make playing sexy football easy,
and this seemed to effect Balotellitubbies in their first game back in the
Premier League. Salad Dodgers, a more physical outfit, dominated every second
ball, and were deserved 4-1 winners.

Beercelona 1-2 The
Mighty Morphin Flower Arrangers
The Mighty Morphin
Flower Arrangers used all of their Premier League experience to oust Beercelona
in what proved to be a physical encounter. There was little to choose between
the teams, and Beercelona will look to bounce back next week against Call Me A
Dad.

Division One
Out on Bale 7-1 Hype
Ass Crew
Out on Bale started
the season in style, as they ruthlessly tore apart our new team Hype Ass Crew.
With even Jordan Wiggins dribbling through on goal all the way from defence,
the signs were ominous for the Crew early on. Only a clumsy goalkeeping error
from Josh Maden salvaged any pride for the Crew, who have their full squad back
next week.

Netsix and Chill 2-0
Tuck Your Socks In
Netsix and Chill
kicked off their promotion challenge with a strong 2-0 win over Tuck Your Socks
in. Tuck Your Socks In’s well known weakness, their finishing, came back to
haunt them again, as they simply could not convert their chances. As soon as
Josh Berry came off the pitch with a bloodied nose, Tuck Your Socks in lacked
the creative spark to get them back in the game.

Brexteam 2-5 Backup
Players
The FA’s decision to
drop Backup Players into Division One was controversial, and they got off to a
dominant start in Division One with a 5-2 win over Brexteam. Brexteam, who
enjoyed a successful season last campaign, tried to use their physical style,
but this was no match for Backup Players more pleasing on the eye way off
playing football.

Division Two
I Predict A Fryatt
1-2 Pinochitoe
Pinochitoe gained
their first win of their Leisure Leagues careers with a tough fought win over I
Predict A Fryatt. The Fryatt’s were much improved on last week’s performance
however, with captain Chucky Breed putting in a dominant display. Both sides
could be there of there abouts come the end of the season..
Ivory Toast 2-5 Ad
Maths
Ad Maths put in a
sensational display to oust Ivory Toast 5-2. Ivory Toast, who have experience
playing at a higher level in Division One, simply had no answer for Luke Eve’s
Ad Maths side, who were frighteningly clinical with their finishing.
