Play in the Chelmsford Wednesday football league powered by Leisure Leagues

The highly anticipated Chelmsford Wednesday 5-a-side Football league entered its third week yesterday with some thrilling action displayed across four divisions – Premier League, Division 1, Division 2, and Division 3.

Beginning the night in the Premier League, Eden's Army triumphed over Unathletico Broomfield with a decisive 2-0 victory. Tinchy Sneijder managed to keep a clean sheet, securing a 2-0 win against W4B. However, Punter's Corner stole the show, romping home with an overwhelming 12-2 win against SAS, boasting the highest score of the division.

Moving to Division 1, Tekkerslovakia dominated on the field securing a 4-1 victory against Ajax Trees Down, while Plough Town left no room for error, thrashing Two Brewers 6-0. Club Tropicana Drinks FC managed to secure a narrow 5-3 victory against Sky Kicks, while FFB FC and Expected Toulouse had a goalless draw.

In Division 2, The Gearheads and Barely Athletic ended their match without any goals. Wardrobes clinched a nail-biting win over PAIN IN DIAS with a 5-4 score. Lisp United beat Casuals FC 4-2, while Barley Legal left Fatalanta FC reeling with a 7-1 win.

Division 3 also witnessed some interesting clashes, with GLFC overpowering Cunning Stunts 9-3, Unathletico Madrid narrowly defeated Swingers FC 3-2, and Meet The Fekirs triumphed over Goal Diggers FC in a high-scoring match, ending 7-2.

The top scorers of the evening were undoubtedly Punter's Corner from the Premier League, Plough Town from Division 1, Barley Legal from Division 2, and Goal Diggers FC from Division 3. The excitement is building as we look forward to next week's games and seeing which teams will top their division's table.
