It was a brilliant evening of football at Chester Leisure League on Monday which saw last seasons league winners crowned! We thank all teams for their continued support and reliability as always.
The league champions Mickys succumbed to their first loss of the season as Team 1 were very impressive in a 2-1 victory to kickstart their season. WoolyBack Rovers and FEED THE GOAT, ended in a goalless draw. The clash between Pique Blinders FC and WHATS THE MATA, with the latter showing their title credentials in a convincing 4-1 victory. PlayLikeAlmiron also managed to snatch a narrow 1-0 win against JIMMY LLOYDS HASSEL-BANK FC.
Moving on to Division 1, Only Kruls And Horses faced a tough defeat against The Bouv FC, with a final score of 2-1. Meanwhile, FC STONE dominated Rusty Spoons in a 4-2 victory. CEEAITCHTHREE FC emerged victorious against Sheffield Monday, securing a 2-0 win. Finally, Adidass Predators beat newly promoted Big L 2-1
In Division 2, ANCHOR FC made a strong statement with a 3-0 victory over Rising Stars FC. Rubber Dingy Rapids FC and HARDLY ATHLETIC also secured their first wins of the season against OMOW and Dill Dough Balls, respectively. Whilst, Sporting Abeergut got off to a solid start with a 2-0 victory over Great Escape
Division 3 witnessed YO YO FC narrowly edging out Inhaler FC in a 3-2 victory. M&S Bank FC managed a 3-3 draw against ESC7 in a goal feist. FC Argyle started the season with a bang, bagging a brilliant 3-0 victory against REAL GREENS. Neither team could find a winner between Stepsissoko and Back Rabbit FC as they battled to a 1-1 draw
