Overall, it was good evening of action in our Chester Monday League which saw a number of shock across the divsions as we move towards the business end of the season!
In the Premier League division, BIG L showed the mettle by beating Sheffield Monday 1-0 in a tightly contested match. MICKYS MAGNIFICENT 7 also put on an impressive show, securing a strong 3-1 victory against WoolyBack Rovers. PlayLikeAlmiron added to the night's intensity by edging out JIMMY LLOYDS HASSEL-BANK FC 1-0 in a nail-biting clash. The Bouv return as normal from next week for their clash against Micky's!
Moving to Division 1, Pique Blinders FC continued their streak of dominance with a convincing 3-0 win over FC Argyle. In another high-scoring game, GREAT ESCAPE defeated Giroud Awakening 3-0. Mozam Fc secured a win against CEEAITCHTHREE FC in a thrilling 3-2 match. Billard FC fell to FEED THE GOAT 0-2 in a game that kept spectators on the edge of their seats.
Division 2 saw HARDLY ATHLETIC triumph over REAL GREENS in a thrilling 3-2 match. ANCHOR FC stunned Luton United with a decisive 4-0 victory, while Tea And Busquets fell to Huzzy Wuzzie FC 1-3 in a heated match. M&S BANK return to competitive action next week!
Division 3 was no less intense. Black Rabbit FC cinched a narrow 3-2 victory over Overton 8. ESC7 dominated the field with a 3-1 win over Opera Grill FC. Barely Athletic and Inhaler FC both ended their respective matches in 2-1 and 1-0 victories over YO YO FC and Released On Bale.
