Overall, it was a good evening of action at Chester Leisure Leagues on Thursday. We were delighted to welcome Boughton Bombers to the league who kicked off their season in Division 2
Starting off with the Premier League, Sporting Abeergut stole the show by securing a 4-1 victory against Texas Oldham. This comes as their second win of the season, boosting their confidence for the upcoming matches. In the other matches, AngelasAngels and Steak And Vale Pie played out a goalless draw, while The Oil showed off their title credentials as they beat Whats The Mata with a 2-0 win. Unathletico Madrid will return to competitive action next week.
Meanwhile, in Division 1, the spotlight was on Poortugal who clinched a tight 2-1 win over Saughall. Elsewhere, AFC Vegas outplayed Socceroos with a 3-1 victory, and FC Polonia and Mount Your Mum ended in a 1-1 stalemate, as did Monday Night Fever and Ch1 FC.
Division 2 was not short of excitement either. Murder On Zidanes Floor were the standout performers, defeating Tbombs Titans 4-0. The intense battle between Stella Courtois and Yellow Brick Wall resulted in a 2-1 victory for the latter. In other matches, Mount Your Dad scraped past Jaeger Young Boys with a 1-0 win, while Boughton Bombers and CBFA shared the spoils with a 1-1 draw.
